Hot Restaurant in Boston…
If you haven’t been to Towne on Boylston Street you are missing out! This fabulous, relatively new restaurant (2010) is ideally situated in the Back Bay adjacent to the Hynes Convention Center and across the plaza from the Prudential Mall. The restaurant is a culinary partnership between two iconic Boston chefs, Lydia Shire and Jasper White. The menu features fresh local fish and lobster, steaks, wood-grilled pizzas and “culinary surprises from around the globe.” It’s an eclectic menu sure to please all tastes. The restaurant is on two floors and features three popular bar areas and three different dining rooms, one of which can accommodate a sit down dinner for about 80 or a stand-up reception for about 150. The place is always packed and always full of high energy. Not only is it the place to see and be seen, it holds its own with a fabulous menu and great cocktails and wine list! It’s a great spot to entertain clients or book a private event. EMP had a private event there for about 100 people and it was a hit! The Director of Sales, Terri Haak, and General Manager, Jay Baker, are great to work with; the staff is awesome; and of course, the culinary team rocked!
