Ellen Michaels Presents to “Light The Night”!
Ellen Michaels Presents has partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of the Silicon Valley on their “Light The Night” events in an effort to give back to the community and help a wonderful cause.
Light The Night is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (the Society) nationwide evening walk, held annually to celebrate and commemorate people whose lives have been touched by cancer. Company teams, civic groups, neighbors and friends raise funds and walk along a two to three mile route in their communities, carrying twinkling balloons – white for survivors and red for supporters. Walkers carry dedication banners that provide an opportunity to display a name or message, honoring or commemorating a family member or friend with cancer.
Under the direction of Program Manger Danielle Guevara, with assistance from David De Wald and Ellen Michaels, EMP is dedicated to doing its part for this important cause. Danielle, a long time volunteer with the Society says; “It’s one of the most rewarding events I can help create.” Ellen Michaels considered it an honor to offer her services, “I can’t think of a better way to support something that has touched so many lives.” David De Wald who scouted Bay Area bands to perform for the Light The Night events exclaims this year will be fun as well as entertaining!
